Meet April
Let’s get to know YOU:
Tell us a little bit about yourself (mini bio):
My name April I’m a stay at home mom.  I’m a little bit ‘crunchy.’  I love natural products and healthy foods.  I think about my environmental impact but I’m not afraid to eat Mcdonalds now and then. Balance right? 😉  I’m a creative person and that is reflected in my creative blog.  I love talking to other moms and getting their view on the journey of motherhood and life and I love to share.
What do you do outside of blogging (think school or work):
I love to paint, draw, sew very basic stuff.  I love music and watching professional dance.  I love to play with my kids and quiet moments with my husband.  My days are spent with my babies and I generally blog during nap time or bed time.
What do you like to do on your down time?
In my down time I like to read by myself or with my husband.  (sci fi and dystopian are my faves)   I also like to do art projects or house projects.  One of my latest projects was a mural for my living room. I garden as well.
Blog niche: Lifestyle (Diy, craft, my opinions, my adventures, my life.)
What’s the purpose of your blog?
To encourage others to be real and enjoy themselves in creative new ways.  To show them that creativity is relative and can be so easy.  To embrace others and seek ways to make the world a more beautiful place both visually and  in daily life

I’m a busy bee and I look at my life with more appreciation because I can see more clearly how great my experiences are with my friends and family when I blog about them
Blogging goals:
  • Short term: I’d like to grow my audience and learn from other bloggers
  • Long term: I’d like to be a big name blogger with the influence to help others and encourage new bloggers because starting out is hard!  Also to turn my blog into a business and help support my sweet family
If you could start blogging all over again, what would you do differently?
I would do a launch to build excitement for my brand before just starting.

Yes I would love a guest post that is pertinent to my blog.  I’d prefer to trade guest posts so we each guest post for each other.  I feel my themes are pretty broad so a lot of different things could fit with my blog.
