Let’s get to know YOU:

Tell us a little bit about yourself (mini bio):

What do you do outside of blogging (think school or work): I’m a wife, a mom and I work full time.

What do you like to do on your down time? I enjoy family time and reading time! I have a 1 year old, so he gets all my attention right now.

Blog niche: Fashion/Style Blog

What’s the purpose of your blog?  To inspire to be confident, cute + comfortable!

Who’s your target? Women

What’s the best way for your audience to contact you? Instagram DM or email at

How would you describe your blogging style?  I would say fun and motivating.  I like to include inspiring quotes in each post. I also try to explain and educate.

When did you start blogging? I started in 2011, but took off some time when I got married and when the baby came.

What inspired you to start blogging?  I’ve always been a creative person, when I found out about blogging it seemed like a no brainer, all the things I’m interested in can come together.

What’s the biggest change in your life since you started blogging? I would say my confidence. I feel like I’m a shy and introverted person for the most part, but blogging has gotten me out of my shell a little bit.

Blogging goals: It’s funny, I just got back to blogging after making a firm decision on wanting to do it again. I haven’t really thought about my overall goals so this may change. It’s easy to fall off the bandwagon in the beginning, so my short term goals that also transcends into long term will be to be consistent and post good content. My longterm goals will include challenging myself more and to reach more readers to inspire them!

If you could start blogging all over again, what would you do differently? I would have started sooner and been more consistent all through the years.

How do you motivate yourself to continue blogging?  I just keep going. I tell myself it’s me challenging myself and not for anyone else. If I help someone out, great, but I don’t expect anything from anyone. I think that keeps me motivated. It can seem pretty daunting if you feel invisible.

What’s your favourite social media platform and why? Instagram. I love how it’s your own personal image gallery in which you can curate the way you want to.

Most of your traffic comes from which social media platform? Pinterest.

What’s your favourite blogging group on Facebook? Blogging Group 101, its very helpful, informative and seems like a really good tribe building opportunity.

What’s your greatest win so far with blogging? I am very happy with how my blog looks, the content and being able to do it by myself is a win in a way.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve so far with blogging? Be consistent.

How often do you publish a post? I’m currently aiming for twice a week.

Have you had writer’s block? If so, how did you overcome it? I have! I usually read a creative book or listen to music to get my juices flowing again.  There is nothing like reading someone else’s work and then becoming inspired.  It really helps me think and get my brain on track.

Do you have a blogging schedule? Daily theme? Please share! I do on my facebook group where my readers can participate.  I’m still testing out but so far its – Monday: Motivation, Tuesday: Tips on Style, Wednesday: Stories, Thursday: Throwback Thursday, Friday: Random Topic Friday.

Have you guest posted for someone?

For whom? Not yet, I hope to be offered the opportunity!

Who’s your favourite blogger before you started blogging and why? (Name and blog URL) I didn’t have one before I started blogging. When I first started, I skimmed through a few different ones on bloglovin.

Who’s your favourite blogger now and why? (Its My Rae Rae, she does make up and its SO inspiring. She makes it look so easy. I love how she does makeup tutorials using different price points.  )

What type of blogs are you interested in reading and why? I like reading all types of blogs. Right now I watch a lot of hair vlogs.  I’m a natural girl with curly hair, so its inspiring to see how other girls handle their curls.  I like tapping into my creative side by trying things these other bloggers recommend.
